From essential workers taking trails to get where they need to go, to families exploring nature, and old friends catching up, trails have brought so many of us a much-needed breath of fresh air this year. They’re one of the few places we can come together, even as we stay six feet apart.
Even amidst a challenging year, our region is continuing to advance efforts to realize an interconnected trails network via the Leafline Trails Coalition.
At our November 12, 2020 meeting, Coalition members received updates regarding our launch results, welcomed new members, shared information about Leafline-branded signage, and discussed funding strategy. Upcoming collaborative efforts will focus on three key emerging areas: developing a shared map vision, coalition building, and working on an advocacy strategy.
